The OpenSSL Corporation develops and maintains the OpenSSL Library. The Library implements a broad range of cryptographic algorithms and security protocols and is widely regarded as a foundational component of modern secure infrastructure. All projects supported by the OpenSSL Corporation are open source and distributed under free licenses, with contributions from the wider community.

The OpenSSL Corporation is the principal sponsor of the OpenSSL Foundation, which also contributes to the development and maintenance of the OpenSSL Library.

At FIT BUT, our principal partner is the Security@FIT laboratory, headed by Doc. Malinka. Our current focus is on bachelor's and master's theses, with overlap into academic research projects conducted at the Security@FIT laboratory.

The OpenSSL Corporation maintains an office in Brno, enabling close in-person collaboration with students and researchers.
