Strathmore University Academic Visit

During the week of June 29–July 3, 2026, 30 master’s students from Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya, will visit FIT.

As is tradition, the academic content of the program is provided by the FIT Department of Information Systems, specifically Assoc. Prof. Petr Matoušek; a Strathmore University alumnus and current FIT doctoral student, Mr. Nelson Mutua, will also participate in teaching.

In addition to classes, the students can look forward to other activities, such as an excursion to the Brno branch of AT&T, a tour of Brno, and a trip to Prague.

FIT VUT began its collaboration with Strathmore University back in 2013, and since 2015, there has been intensive cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
