How to Talk About Your Research with Investors? JIC Invites You to a Workshop on 16 September

On 16 September, JIC Startup Hub will host a practical workshop, How to Talk About Your Research with Investors. During the afternoon, participants will prepare their own 120-second pitch, with six of them presenting it to the audience and receiving immediate feedback. The day will conclude with a panel discussion featuring an investor specialising in deep-tech projects and two founders of spin-off companies.

The workshop aims to help participants clearly explain what problem their research addresses and who benefits from it. This skill can be useful not only when looking for partners, but also in contract research, applied research projects and industry collaboration. No previous experience is required.
