The programme for this year’s Science Night at FIT has been announced. This year’s theme is COMMUNICATION

After a year’s absence, the biggest science outreach event of the year is returning to FIT. This year it goes by the new name Science Night, but with the same aim: to bring science and research closer to the general public. A varied programme for all ages will be offered by 155 institutions in 70 towns and villages across the Czech Republic. And, as ever, FIT VUT will be there.

This year’s programme begins on Friday 25 September 2026 at 5.00 pm and officially runs until 10.00 pm (though some events will continue longer). You can look forward to fascinating demonstrations of technology and how it interacts with people.

The full programme can be viewed HERE. Please note! Once again this year, the Science Night programme will be expanded to include the Night at FIT event, organised by the FIT Students’ Union. Would you like to spend an adventurous night at the faculty? Advance registration is required for some of the Night at FIT activities.
