Abstract

Existing tools for mathematical modelling of pedestrian traffic flow provide very good quality factual outputs, but the visual representation in the form of 3D animations is of strictly technical nature in the form of circles or cylinders, or very simplified 3D models of people, which has a negative impact on the impression and understanding when presenting the results to the general public and significantly limits the possibility of using virtual reality. The aim of the project is to eliminate the shortcomings in the field of visualization and to create a tool that will allow the statistical and numerical outputs to be presented in a modern graphical virtual reality environment with the aim of achieving a photorealistic graphical level.
