The main task will focus on the evolution driven design of a controller capable of dealing with the aeroelastic effects during simulated flights under various atmospheric conditions. Significant part of the research will be dedicated to the definition and implementation of different evolutionary approaches. Care will be taken on the definition of evaluation scenarios for the active gust load alleviation schemes (manoeuvres to perform, flight envelope points to consider, types of gust excitations, erformance metrics to use, etc.).
