Annotation

This article presents an applicationof the JavaBeans technology in the area of discrete simulation and modeling. This technology, based on the Java programming language, supports portable components that can be used across the Internet. Basic principles of the technology are introduced and some design and implementation issues of the SimBeans package are discussed. Finally, the SimBeans package is demonstrated on an example of a simple discrete simulation model.
