Subject specific learning outcomes and competences

Understanding of pedagogical capabilities for the purpose of instruction of engineering courses.

Learning objectives

To familiarise students with introduction into education process problems, definition of the pedagogic matter and a set of the terms. To devote information on possibilities of implementation this knowledge in pedagogic practice. To inform about fundamentals of engineering courses didactic, didactic transform of science cognition into engineering courses education, educational aims of engineering courses and creative using of all didactic tools.

Prerequisite kwnowledge and skills

To be interested in given problems, and to have the minimum knowledge in pedagogic problems.

  1. Introduction into this branch of study.
  2. Training targets and tasks.
  3. Subject matter and its didactical analysis.
  4. Subject matter structurization.
  5. Training forms and methods.
  6. Training forms and methods.
  7. Personality of the lecturer.
  8. Student and how his/her study results are to be measured.
  9. Forming the student's personality.
  10. Instruction design.
  11. Implementation of the courses of instruction.
  12. Evaluation of the training process and the pedagogical practice.
  13. Evaluation of the training process and the pedagogical practice.

Progress assessment

Tests passed during the term.

Exam prerequisites

Personal presence on at least 80 % of the lectures.
