Dear students,

you have probably noticed an information in the media that even lower year students can start attending an individual consultations, practical training and practise at the university or university libraries. The corresponding government resolution allows this under the same conditions as it was allowed from Monday for the final year students, so the students can enter the faculty or other BUT building only if they have not a quarantine measure ordered at the given time, they will have a valid affidavit (in BUT IS) that they do not show signs of viral infectious diseases (e.g., fever, cough, shortness of breath, sudden loss of appetite and smell, etc.) in the last two weeks and will always disinfect their hands at the entrance. Everyone must have respiratory protective equipment (nose, mouth) at all times, such as a respirator, mask, face mask, scarf, or other equipment to prevent the spread of droplets. They must also use this protective equipment when moving in the common areas of the Faculty.

The BUT Rectorate has also issued a corresponding news.

At FIT, an individual consultations with teachers under the age of 45 are hereby permitted from 27 April 2020, by prior (e-mail or telephone) agreement.

A library is also available for all students, in the same mode as for the students in the last year of study.

As we announced yesterday, the examination period will not start before June 8, 2020, and we will try to ensure that the examination period will really start at June 8, 2020 and then the state final examinations can start in the week from July 6, 2020.

We are also currently working intensively on the possibility of obtaining a confirmation of study electronically.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and wish you good health
