Abstract
This paper introduces the theory of twodimensional languages automata in comparision to the classic concept of languages and automata. This theory is used for developing special automata, that is capable of analyzing tables containing rules. These tables are conected with rules for selected european car license plates. Automata and tables are used by developed application, which can be used for car nationality identification.
