Rozšiřující modul WiFi pro výukový kit Minerva
The goal of this thesis was to design a printed circuit board with a mounted Wi-Fi module, which would provide Wi-Fi capabilities to MINERVA FITKIT educational platform. The thesis deals with the process of designing a circuit board and solutions of problems related to radio frequency circuits. Part of the thesis is also an analysis of various types of antennas, and their pros and cons. The biggest subject of this work was the process of choosing a versatile Wi-Fi module, and effectively connecting it to another microcontroller, a PC, and appropriate external antenna. The result was a simple two-layered circuit board with two antennas, a switch for alternating between them, a Wi-Fi module, and a radio frequency transmission line. This expansion module was successfuly made functional, and programmed with a simple program. A sufficiently strong wireless signal was produced.
