Abstract

The thesis describes types and properties of modern virtual machines. Principles of each mentionedvirtual machine are described. Substantial effort is devoted to the description of high level languagevirtual machines. Parrot virtual machine is depicted. Characteristics of Parrot architecture are esentialpart of this bachelors thesis.
