Project Management Course - a Survey

The paper reviews the current development of the Engineering of Computer-Based Systems as a novel engineering branch, which was established on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the Technical University of Brno in academic year 1997/98. One of core courses is Project Management Computer-Based System.This course deals with the management aspects of the development of CBS and their software. It provides advanced material on the CBS process. CBS project planning, monitoring and controlling mechanisms and techniques for leadership and team building, laws and the current standards in CBS development.
