Abstract

English abstract

This report describes formalism DEVS whereby we can
describes models for discrete-event simulation. The DEVS formalism was conceived by
Zeigler to provide a rigorous common basic for discrete-event
modeling and simulation. In this formalism system models are described at an abstraction
level where the time base is continuous, but during a bounded simulation time, only a finite
number of relevant events occur. In between events the state of system model doesn`t change.
