                    Abstract

This paper describes the areas of biometric systems we are currently doing research in. One of them is the challenging theme of liveness detection, particularly in the area of fingerprint recognition. The next three areas include different biometric methods, namely recognition according to 3D hand geometry, finger veins and thermal face.
