        Parallel architecture for speedup of ray tracing algorithm is presented with simulations, which show its usability.

            Photo realistic rendering performed through ray tracing consumes a lot of the computing time. Many techniques were developed for its speedup. This paper describes an alternative possibility of using parallel architecture to reduce the necessary time for intersections computation, which is an important part of the algorithm. The architecture is described and some simulations were done to verify its functionality.
