Abstract

The purpose of the research work is to track a drivers reactions to commands in a simulated setting. The project builds upon a previous one by using two cameras to extend the field-of-view of the system and to increase tracking precision. Research and development of an algorithm for determining the gaze direction of the subject. Research and development of an algorithm for camera calibration in relation to the simulator cockpit. Creation of source codes for straightforward incorporation to an application.
