Abstract

In Problem 527 of Open Problems in Topology J. Lawson and M. Mislove ask, for which DCPO's the Scott topology has a basis of open filters and for which DCPO's the topology generated by the Scott open filters is T$_0$. In this paper we introduce a notion of a Hofmann-Mislove DCPO, for which we can partially answer the question.
