Abstract
During the inductive energy transfer, electrically conductive objects cannot be present in proximity of the system. Otherwise, eddy currents can be induced at the surfaces of objects, and electrical losses can cause their significant heating. In order to eliminate a danger related to the heating, conductive objects in proximity of the inductive feeding system have to be reliably detected. The detection has to distinguish in between objects of interest to be charged and parasitic objects which might be heated.
