Abstract
EL-hyperstructures are a class of hyperstructures constructed from quasi-ordered semigroups. Their construction - in its original version - uses partial ordering. However, antisymmetry is often not needed to achieve desired results. In this paper we focus on such cases. We also discuss implications of the quasi-ordering being moreover symmetric, i.e. an equivalence.
