Abstract
The paper deals with the analytical solution of the maximum torque per flux strategy for interior permanent magnet synchronous machine. The paper describes in detail, how to compute proper values of stator current components to be able to control the drive in a wide speed range. The developed flux weakening algorithm can be easily adapted to the controlled drive using its actual identified parameters. The algorithm was proved in simulation using a real PMSM control system.
