Annotation

The paper describes a case study on applying object oriented Petri nets (OOPN) and the associated tool PNtalk to flexible manufacturing systems modelling. From a more general point of view, this case study is a part of a broader research on the applicability of OOPN/PNtalk to modelling various complex systems in order to get some feedback and improve both the general methodology of modelling by means of OOPNs as well as the supporting tool.
