Abstract

Processor Expert (PE) is an advanced, component oriented, open RapidApplication Development environment for embedded systems based onoriginal methodology of embedded system decomposition to HW and SWelements. Its unique features are provided thanks expert knowledgesystem, which is checking all the users settings and according to themgenerates target code. The paper further describes feeeatures of thistools and possibilities of component technology, as it is implementedin PE, in efficient programming of component systems.
