Abstract

Existing Data Networks allow businesses to sharecomputerized data with customers, suppliers and other outside entities.Businesses investing in such data networks gain competitive advantage. Thispaper gives a brief introduction into the service-based information systemsover national and worldwide data network. It focuses on Business ServiceNetworks (BSNs). The main contribution of this paper consists in thepresentation of the design of secured communication that could be used in BSN.
