Abstract

Wireless communication has been a huge-deployed mean of communication in recent time. In this work we consider wireless communication networks used for information transmission via Internet Protocol. IEEE 802.11 is in all probability the most known and most deployed standard in this area. It is often used for forming large networks in villages and cities. Devices compliant with this standard are cheap and available. We have tested the implementation of existing security protocols on commonly used devices with focus on functionality and effectiveness.
