On weak reflections in some classes of topological spaces II
On the previous CITA in Gandia S. Salbany presented a nice plenary lecture in which he mapped the
situation around the (weak) reflections in various topological structures and classes. Since that very
interesting and well-prepared talk included a very large amount of various topics, on the other hand, it
could not contain some of the most recent results (regarding the weak reflections in compact spaces,
for example). That inspired me to look at some of my and M. Hu\v sek's results in more
detail. As a result, I have prepared two papers. The first one I presented last
summer on the topology conference in Istanbul. The second paper I intend to present here,
on CITA 2001.
My talk will be a continuation and partially a recapitulation of my talk presented last year in
Turkey. I will present some new results and generalizations.
