Abstract

The paper presents novel algorithm for AC induction motor control and its implementation in Motorola DSP 5680x. This algorithm uses direct stator flux position control using voltage source invertor by the prediction of the stator flux vector position. It preserves the advantages of the DTC algorithm that means low requirements on computational power, simple physical inside and fast dynamic response. Moreover it eliminates the torque and stator current ripples in steady state. These represent the main drawbacks of the DTC algorithm.
