Abstract

The contribution deals with application of censored samples in environmental studies. The maximum likelihood approach together with doubly left-censored data is used. The exact Fisher information is derived and used for determination of confidence intervals for parameter estimates. These results are compared with those obtained from the empirical Fisher information on simulated data. Results are also demonstrated on environmental data of biotic matrices contamination.
