Rules for e-the registration of the elective courses for the winter semester (clarification of the guideline)

The first year student cannot cancel the required courses of the summer semester, otherwise, the student can only have one elective course in the given semester. Student of the first year of study in the IT-BC program can register and enroll at most 65 credits for the ac. year 2019/2020, except for the following cases:

  1. First year student that has successfully completed all enrolled mandatory courses in the winter semester (one failed mandatory course is allowed), and aquired at least 20 credits,can register courses for at most 70 credits.
  2. First year student, that fullfils case 1, and with the grade average at most 2.00, can register in courses for at most 75 credits,
  3. First year student, that fullfils case 1, and with the grade average at most 1.50, can register in courses for at most 80 credits.

First year students, that have successfully completed the IZP course (with grade A, B, C or D), can register the compulsory course Computer Graphics Principles (IZG) from the 2nd year. Students who use this option can then register the ITU course for the 3rd year.

Students set the pacing of study. To be permitted to take a state examination, at least 180 credits have to be obtained from the required courses including the English courses BAN4 or AIT. Those who want the title "Bc" in the normal ammount of time (3 years), have to obtain on average 60 credits per ac. year. Based on the study results,the credit limit can be increased automatically up to 194 credits.

Students should consider how to use the credits for elective courses (the list of available courses exands in the second and third year). For example:

  • courses ISJ, ITY, ITW and IVS,
  • Microsoft technology courses - IW1, IW2, IW5,
  • courses of educational minimum,
  • etc.
