The main goal of the paper is to explain the automated testing of the web applications. The paper describes reasons for automated testing inclusion in complex software development. The possibilities are presented for optimal usage of the automated testing tool. Benefits and disadvantages are listed for the used testing tool. The paper focuses on elimination of the disadvantages of the chosen testing tool. An extension of the Selenium testing tool and its usage benefits are described.
