Abstract
The article deals with UML profiles for object-relational modeling, i.e. modeling of object extensions introduced in SQL: 1999 and SQL: 2003 standards. The UML profile designed for Rational Rose Oracle8 tool is used as a concrete profile to present relevant modeling techniques.
