TDE Acad. year 2003/2004 Winter semester 5 credits

Current academic year

The TDE-subject provides information on the types and techniques of processing and standardisation of documents (ISO standards) in engineering practice, with emphasis on graphic documentation processing using CAD. CAD presents a set of design and drafting tools, and ways to solve drafting and design problems. This TDE-subject is a guide to learning professional computer-aided design and drafting skills using AutoCAD program. On practice, students learn drawing approaches and management strategies as well as the use of individual AutoCAD commands. This TDE-subject provides students with a series of drawing exercise sets designed to help them build CAD productivity skills. These skills include: How to create and manage "electronic" drawing sheets and drawing files, how to use AutoCAD advanced drawing and editing features to create easy-to-edit drawings, how to create and use symbol libraries, and how to assemble drawings using symbols and complete drawings.
