Annotation
This is an abstract of the paper Rule-Restricted Automaton-Grammar Transducers: Power and Linguistic Applications published in the Mathematics for Applications journal, submitted for presentation at the MEMICS conference. The paper introduces a new transducer consisting of a finite automaton and a context-free grammar. The cooperation of these two components is controlled by a set, which restricts the usage of their rules. The paper discusses the power of this system and its linguistic application perspectives.
