Information system as a special case of a system. Kinds of informarion systems. History of information systems. Management information systems, their desing and development. Special information systems. Technology of information system with relational database system building.

Ability to model especially economic reality in the information system. Ability and knowledge to implement information systems under database technologies.

Learning objectives

To obtain common overview of information system branch. To get basic knowledge of information systems based on the database technology. In more details to get knowledge of management information systems.
