Subject specific learning outcomes and competences

Students will understand routing in scalable networks, both theorical and practicle view. They will be able design and configure multicast transmission in LAN networks. They will understand IPv6 architecture and its deployment. Course knowledge and experience cover requirements of Cisco certification exam 642-901 BSCI.

Students will learn how to configure and optimize scalable networks, deliver and filter routing information. They will be able to configure routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, and BPG, including their mutual interconnection. Students can also configure multicast and IPv6.

Learning objectives

Building scalable networks. Routing protocols EIGRP, multi-area OSPF, IS-IS, internal and external BGP. Redistributino and optimization. Multicast. IPv6.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Students are expected to have knowledge of CCNA Exploration 4, or certification exam CCNA 804-802.
