Abstract

This work deals with workflow systems and workflow modeling. One of the used paradigms for workflow modeling are Petri Nets. We will focus on their special kind - Object Oriented Petri Nets (OOPN) which combines advantages of object-orientation (such as reusability and maintainability) and Petri Nets (such as graphical notations, mathematical background, etc.) The model of the conference system will be discussed as a case study of modeling workflow using OOPN.
