Abstract
This documents elaborates on the subject of video interlacing and deinterlacing. It describes the interlacing of video, its history and reasons that led to its use. The document also explains why is it necessary to remove interlacing and basic methods that are used for that. It also recaps the current state of my basic version of deinterlacing algorithm implementation.
