Description

This software implements the Immersive Trip Reports research paper originally published at the UIST 2018 conference. It allows automatic reconstruction of virtual hikes which can be re-visited using virtual reality. The reconstructed hikes can be viewed on a computer screen, or using a Virtual Reality device. This software also implements automatic rendering of textured terrain, a feature used by LandscapeAR project. LandscapeAR allows us to localise individual cameras from a single photograph with respect ti the rendered terrain model.
