transformation of education, digitization of teaching, blended learning
Aim A1: The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of FIT BUT in the digitization of educational activities and study agendas. FIT BUT is ready to significantly strengthen digitization and new forms of education, due to general social trends, but also in connection with recent pandemic events, the need for such digitization also seems important. At the same time, we will gradually use the study part of the BUT IS information system at FIT BUT and this is associated with a number of necessary works on the use of new BUT IS functions at FIT BUT and also a number of works on software implementation for digitizing the study agenda and connecting this agenda with information sources. at FIT VUT. To do this, you also need to purchase the appropriate hardware and infrastructure. In addition to digitization and support of study agendas, it is necessary to expand and deepen the possibilities of digitization of educational activities in full-time and distance form, for which the means of digital support for teaching in selected teaching spaces of the faculty will be strengthened.
Aim A2: The project is focused on the development of online and distance learning opportunities at FIT, including the possibility of use in blended learning. The aim of the project is to prepare BUT FIT for the challenges of modern society, but also to respond to the recent pandemic situation and use experience so that the teaching process can be implemented without the need for personal presence of students at classes wherever it is possible and where it will not be detrimental. the quality of the educational process. This will also strengthen the possibilities of educating students with special needs, especially by enabling study in a comfortable environment that respects their needs, reduce mobility to the necessary extent and the ability to adapt the pace of study to their needs. At the same time, we will focus on direct teaching with the possibility of students' interaction with teachers; we understand distance learning (especially self-study from the supplied materials) as an additional option.
