Abstract
The presentation introduces the Internet of Things (IoT) and focuses on vulnerability of IoT communication. On the example of MQTT protocol we demonstrate how MQTT communication can be misused by an attacker. Then we summarize fundamental requirements on IoT security and available standards and recommendations. Finally we present challenges to IoT manufacturers and providers to implement operate secure and safe IoT networks.
