Abstract

Motion capture is a modern method which is commonlyused in animation and augmented reality. There exists a large variety offunctional systems that are based on different principles. The main concept ofthis paper is to provide a preview for basic description of potential motion capturesystems that are widely used or represent a promising future. In addition, thispaper presents an overview of a new system, which is now in development.
