Abstract

In the paper, frequency limitations of textile
integrated antennas and filters based on textile integrated
waveguides are discussed. The antennas and filters are
manufactured from a three-dimensional knitted material.
Conductive parts are manufactured from silver-coated
conductive threads and by a screen-printing technology. Textile
antennas and filters presented in an open literature are reviewed
and compared. The technology, manufacturing process and
limitations are analyzed and discussed.
