Abstract
The paper presents a short overview of frequently used global optimization methods, and introduces novel polytope algorithms – the methods of chaos lines. The principles of those methods are described, and applied to the optimization of a microstrip dipole. The obtained results are compared with outputs of other global optimization methods at the end.
