Abstract
The paper describes the design and the experimental verification of three types of wideband antennas. Attention is turned to the bow-tie antenna, the Vivaldi antenna and the spiral antenna designed for the operation at millimeter waves. Bandwidth, input impedance, gain, and directivity pattern are the investigated parameters. An experimental comparison of the properties of the bow-tie antenna, the Vivaldi antenna and the spiral antenna is the original contribution of the paper. Antennas are compared considering computer simulations in CST Microwave Studio and measured data.
Keywords
