Abstract

In the area of a digital audio signal processing, attention has lately been focused on multichannel audio systems for surrounding sound like Dolby Surround, Dolby Digital, or DTS. These systems require five or more channels to be processed in the same time. This paper deals with a hardware and software solution for multichannel audio signal processing on Motorola DSP56k family digital signal processors.
