3D Optical digitalization 2

1ODI-L FaVU 1ODI-L Acad. year 2023/2024 Summer semester 2 credits

The follow-up course of 3D optical digitization is focused on practical development of models and scanning of objects in the framework of independent tasks and creative projects using technologies available at FFA BUT (ATOS 1, Artec EVA, Artec studio 15).

Language of instruction

Time span

  • 6 hrs lectures
  • 20 hrs exercises

Learning objectives

The course is designed to deepen the knowledge and skills necessary for the practical application of 3D optical digitization technology, including the preparation of conditions for scanning spatial objects using ATOS 1 and Artec EVA equipment.

Students will gain practical knowledge of preparing models for scanning and processing basic data from optical digitizing equipment by solving projects independently.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Students must have credits from the 3D optical digitalization 1 course.
