Subject specific learning outcomes and competences

General reading and listening comprehension of the standard language. Being able to communicate in everyday situations, present results, give explanation, inform about future plans and intentions, ask for information. Being able to understand and analyze basic texts (reading. comprehension, presentation).

Learning objectives

The course is focused on general German further developing the skills acquired in HNE1.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Basic skills in German on the level covered in HNE1 are required.

Teaching methods and criteria

Teaching methods include language seminars and homework. Students have to actively participate in classes.
