The course is designed to provide an overview of the legal aspects of the creation and use of ICT. In the absence of any other legal background, students it does not teach the basics of general law, but on the basis of the principle from the special to the general it maps all areas of law that are typical for ICT.
In particular, it covers topical subjects such as law in cyberspace, data protection, electronic documents and signatures, introduction to eGovernment, intellectual property protection, cyber security law, cybercrime.

Learning objectives

The main objective of the course is to provide the student with a basic orientation in the legal aspects of the creation and use of ICT, both in the field of public and private law. 


The course is designed to provide an overview of the legal aspects of the creation and use of ICT. Due to the absence of any other legal education of students in the study programme, it does not combine the teaching of the basics of general law, but on the basis of the principle from the special to the general, it maps all areas of law that are typical for ICT.
