Full-Time 2 Years Title Awarded Ing.

Bioinformatics and biocomputing is a branch combining computer science with biology. You will learn to understand the relevant principles of biology, e.g. in the field of molecular genetics, evolutionary theories, or neuroscience. It is based on information technology - you will learn how to use, design and effectively implement algorithms for processing, analyzing and presenting biological data. This specialization presupposes a deeper interest of the applicant in biology and genetics and knowledge of these fields at the secondary school level (gymnasium). When you get there, you will be specialists in bioinformatics and bio-inspired artificial intelligence. Biotechnology laboratories and companies involved in intelligent data processing and artificial intelligence applications will employ you.
