Abstrakt

The paper deals with dispersion analysis of planar electromagnetic band gap (EBG) surfaces using the commercial software Ansoft HFSS. The correct unit cell setup is discussed on an example of the original UC-PBG structure. Then, a simple modell of the unit cell for dispersion analysis of PCS-EBG structures using Ansoft HFSS is introduced. Simulation results are compared with experiment.
